Your USPTO.gov account is not authorized to access EFS-Web and Private PAIR. Please refer to the instructions below.
For patent practitioners and independent inventors
To access EFS-Web for registered eFilers and Private PAIR, you must have a verified USPTO.gov account. New customers, or customers who did not migrate by the migration deadline, can obtain a verified USPTO.gov account using the new verification process.
For support staff (paralegals, legal Admins, and others)
To access EFS-Web for registered eFilers and Private PAIR, your USPTO.gov account must be sponsored by a practitioner. The Sponsorship Tool is available for registered practitioners to sponsor their support staff to work on their behalf. In order to sponsor support staff, a practitioner must first migrate to a USPTO.gov account and the support staff must each have a USPTO.gov account.
