TEAS NUTS AND BOLTS:
Correspondence Information

MARK: Now you are ready to ensure that your correspondence information is correct. Unless an attorney is filing the application on your behalf or you have appointed a Domestic Representative, the information on this page will be the same as the applicant information you previously entered.

If a different address should be used for correspondence, simply delete the current information and enter the new information. Note that any entry marked with a red asterisk must be completed.

Also note that, if desired, you may enter additional e-mail addresses to receive duplicate, courtesy copies of electronic USPTO correspondence. And be sure the box is checked to authorize the USPTO to communicate with you via e-mail.

If an attorney is filing the form on your behalf, you must check the Attorney check box and fill in the attorney's correspondence information.

If you live outside the United States and are appointing a Domestic Representative to receive your correspondence, you must check the Domestic Representative check box. Then, simply complete the provided form.

When you are sure that your correspondence information is correct or that the Attorney or Domestic Representative information is correct, click "Continue" to move on to the next section of the form.
