The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO)  is opening a regional office in Dallas-Fort Worth in November 2015, with new patent examiners starting January 2016, and we are actively recruiting up to 75 talented Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineers to work for us!  

Join us for a Patent Examiner Recruitment Open House on Friday, September 18th, or Saturday, September 19th, at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel located at 400 North Olive Street (Room: Majestic 5) to learn about exciting job opportunities based in our new offices in the Terminal Annex Federal Building in downtown Dallas.

Attend one of the ongoing information sessions we'll hold throughout both days, and then meet directly afterward with representatives from the USPTO Patents Organization to learn more about the job and answer any questions you have. You'll also receive information about our how to become a patent examiner in our new Dallas office, USPTO's competitive pay, tremendous benefits, and why USPTO is consistently ranked as one of the Best Places to Work in the Federal Government®!

Those who qualify will be encouraged to apply to our open vacancy announcements. Candidates cannot be officially considered for open positions without submitting a completed application within USAJobs.gov.

Multiple information sessions will be scheduled starting at 9am on Friday and 10:30am on Saturday.  On both days, the last session will begin at 3pm.  At the event, you will have the opportunity to speak to USPTO recruiters about our current job openings and how to apply via USAJobs.gov.  THERE WILL NOT BE ANY ON-SITE INTERVIEWS held during the Open House.
