An Evening with USPTO: Where IP, Technology & Law Intersect (Austin)

Throughout September, the USPTO is partnering with IP Law and bar associations across Texas to host a special informational series entitled, "An Evening with USPTO: Where IP, Technology & Law Intersect."

We are hosting these info sessions for professionals with engineering undergraduate degrees and at least one year of intellectual property experience who may be interested in pursuing a career as a USPTO patent examiner. Our first event is in Austin next Thursday, September 10th at Jackson Lewis P.C. from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

Spend an evening with us to learn more about USPTO's new Dallas Regional Office opening November 2015, with new patent examiners starting January 2016.   You'll also hear about why the work of IP protection through patent examination really matters.  Find out what it takes to become a Patent Examiner, and how to apply for jobs in our new Dallas office through USAJobs.gov. You’ll also walk away with the USPTO perspective on IP law and technology innovation as we expand our operations nationwide.

If you miss us in Austin, don't fret! We are hosting two more of these information sessions in Houston on September 16th and in Dallas on September 17th.
