National Inventors Hall of Fame honors and celebrates all inductees, past and present, for their achievements and innovation.
“Between them all, tonight's Inductees, collectively, hold almost 550 patents,” said USPTO Director Michelle K. Lee at the 45th annual National Inventors Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on May 4, 2017.

Eli Harari, inventor of the Floating Gate EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory), is now a NIHF inductee and also a National Medal of Technology and Innovation recipient.
