The information that you are supplying in response to this request is covered by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 and the Privacy Act of 1974 (P.L. 93-579). The Paperwork Reduction Act states that no persons are required to respond to a collection of information unless it displays a valid OMB Number. The USPTO is authorized to collect this information under 35 U.S.C. 2(a)(2). This information will primarily be used to disseminate publications and policy news electronically to USPTO customers as the agency moves towards electronic publishing and eGovernment policies. The responses will not be aggregated.
