A sequence listing is a part of the description of the patent application file that gives a detailed disclosure of the nucleotide and/or amino acid sequences and other related information. The definition of sequence types can be found in the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Handbook on Industrial Property Information and Documentation, Standard ST-25, ANNEX C, Standard for the Presentation of Nucleotide and Amino Acid Sequence Listings in International Patent Applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).
