Connecting IP, Innovation, and STEM in the Classroom

Join us for a free workshop designed by educators for educators to help teachers/makers learn about STEM education and its significance to intellectual property (IP) (patents, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets) and innovation.  Program highlights include:

  • IP and STEM Activities--Inspire Student Creative Thinking and Problem Solving
  • Science of Innovation Curriculum--IP, Innovation, and STEM in the Classroom/Makerspace
  • Innovation Challenge for Teachers and Students--A Pedagogical Model of IP-STEM Education

This event is targeted for area teachers and makers working in STEM education and innovation.  Please bring a dinner snack to enjoy during the session.  The event is free and has limited space, please register here by January 16, 2017.  Tours of the facility will be offered before the session, starting at 3 PM.
