Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web) and Private Patent Application Information Retrieval System (Private PAIR) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web) and Private Patent Application Information Retrieval System (Private PAIR) beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, July 14 and ending at 9 a.m., Saturday, July 14 ET.
Users will be unable to file in the DOCX format or save any DOCX submissions within EFS-Web, and will be unable to access the DOCX format within Private PAIR during this timeframe. However, users will still be able to file, save, and access portable document formats (PDFs) in EFS-Web and Private PAIR.
