TESS Search Problem and TEASi Payment Error Message
USPTO is experiencing technical issues with Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS), all Trademark searches using TESS conducted between 5 a.m. Saturday, April 20 and 5 a.m. Sunday, April 21 must be redone.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our payment system for customers using the Subsequent Designation form. Users of this form may receive an “Internal Failure” error message after submitting payment information. Although the financial portion of the transaction completed, a technical glitch prevented the subsequent designation form from updating with the payment information. The problem is being addressed by staff at the USPTO. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
