Multiple Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Electronic System for Trademark Trial and Appeal (ESTTA) and Trademark Trial Appeal Board Viewing on the Web (TTABVUE) systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, April 13 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, April 13 ET.
The ESTTA and TTABVUE systems will be unavailable during this maintenance period.
Trademark System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark TMNG systems beginning at 10 p.m., Saturday, April 13 and ending by 5:30 a.m., Sunday, April 14 ET.
The following systems will be impacted:
- Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) will not be available. You can access recent PDF versions of the gazette on the Trademark Official Gazette webpage. For archived PDF versions of gazettes dating back to 2001, visit the archived editions page.
- Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will not be available.
- Trademarks Next Generation ID Manual (TMNG-IDM) will not be available.
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) will be available with reduced functionality.
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) will be available with reduced functionality.
GD Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Global Dossier (GD) beginning at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 13 and ending at 8 p.m., Saturday, April 13, and again beginning at 6 a.m., Sunday, April 14 and ending at 8 p.m., Sunday, April 14 ET.
GD may experience service interruptions during the maintenance periods.
FOIA Reading Rooms Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Reading Rooms beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, April 13 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, April 13 ET.
The following FOIA Reading Rooms will not be available during the maintenance period:
- Most Frequently Requested Documents
- Patent Trial and Appeal Board Decisions
- Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Decisions
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Decisions
- Amicus Briefs
- Supreme Court and Federal Circuit Decisions of Interest
- Notices of Suit filed with U.S. District Courts
Maintenance impacting Private PAIR
The USPTO will perform maintenance impacting Private PAIR beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, April 13 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, April 13 ET.
During the maintenance period, services provided by the Patent Maintenances Fees Storefront (https://fees.uspto.gov/MaintenanceFees/) will be unavailable. These include Patent Maintenance Fees lookups, Patent Maintenance Fee payments, and Patent Maintenance Fee Bulk File submissions.
Additionally, users updating the Entity Status in Private PAIR may experience brief and intermittent interruptions during the maintenance period.
Maintenance impacting EFS-Web and EFS-Web Contingency
The USPTO will perform maintenance impacting EFS-Web and EFS-Web Contingency beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, April 13 and ending at 1 a.m., Saturday, April 13 ET.
EFS-Web and EFS-Web Contingency will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
If you need to file a submission during the maintenance period, please use an alternative filing method.
