Planned Events
PIW Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on Patent Image On the Web (PIW) beginning at 12:05 a.m., Friday, March 1 and ending at 2:30 a.m., Friday, March 1 ET.
During maintenance period, PIW will not be available.
Trademark System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Next Generation (TMNG) systems beginning at 10 p.m. Saturday, March 2 and ending by 5:30 a.m. Sunday, March 3 ET.
The following systems will be impacted:
- Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) will not be available. You can access recent PDF versions of the gazette on the Trademark Official Gazette webpage. For archived PDF versions of gazettes dating back to 2001, visit the archived editions page.
- Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will not be available.
- Trademarks Next Generation ID Manual (TMNG-IDM) will not be available.
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) will be available with reduced functionality.
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) will be available with reduced functionality.
Users of the above impacted systems should save all work prior to logging out.
OEDCI Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Office of Enrollment and Discipline Roster of Patent Attorneys/Agents (OEDCI) beginning at 7 a.m., Saturday, March 2 and ending at 8 a.m., Saturday, March 2 ET.
OEDCI will be unavailable during the maintenance period. Additionally, Adjudicated Case Tracking System (ACTS) and Patent Trial Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E) will be unable to access OEDIS during the maintenance period.
Developer Hub Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Developer Hub (DH) (https://developer.uspto.gov/) beginning at 9 p.m., Thursday, March 7 and ending at 12:30 a.m., Friday, March 8 ET.
DH will be unavailable during this maintenance period.
Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting several systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, March 10 and ending at 9 a.m., Sunday, March 10 ET.
The following systems and systems that interface with these systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
- Electronic Freedom of Information Act (eFOIA)
- Electronic Filing System Web (EFS-Web & EFS-Web Contingency)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Roster of Patent Attorneys/Agents (OEDCI)
- Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End System (PTAB-E2E)
- Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (Private PAIR)
- Public Patent Application Information Retrieval (Public PAIR)
- Publication Site for Issued and Published Sequences (PSIPS)
- Financial Manager and Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
- Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG)
- Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS)
The maintenance will also cause interruptions to payment processing for users of the Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS), the Order Entry Management System (OEMS), the Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB-E2E).
