Open Data Portal
The USPTO will be performing maintenance on the Open Data Portal Intellectual Property (IP) Marketplace capability beginning at 12:01 a.m., Friday, July 17 and ending at 12 p.m., Friday, July 17 ET.
Users might experience a momentary outage to DH services.
Multiple Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting multiple systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, July 18 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, July 18 2 ET.
The following systems and systems that interface with these systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
- Patent Center
- EFS-Web for Registered eFilers
- Private PAIR
- Sponsorship Tool
During this maintenance period, if you need to file a new patent application, you can use EFS-Web for unregistered eFilers or EFS-Web Contingency.
If you need to file a follow-on submission, use an alternative filing method.

PTAB-E2E Maintenance
The USPTO will be performing maintenance on the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End (PTAB-E2E) system beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, July 18 and ending at 11:59 p.m., Sunday, July 19 ET.
PTAB-E2E will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
TMNG System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Next Generation (TMNG) systems beginning at 10 p.m., Saturday, July 18 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Sunday, July 19 ET.
The following systems will be unavailable:
- Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG)
- Trademark Next Generation ID Manual (TMNG-IDM)
You can access recent PDF versions of the gazette on the Trademark Official Gazette webpage. For archived PDF versions of gazettes dating back to 2001, visit the archived editions page.
- Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will be available, but all documents may not be viewable.
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) initial application forms will not be available.
