Trademark System Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Examination system beginning at 8 p.m., Friday, January 28 and ending at 11:59 p.m., Friday, January 28 ET.
The following systems may incur a brief outage or loss of functionality during the maintenance:
• Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG)
Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) and Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on TEAS and TEASi beginning at 8 a.m., Saturday, January 29 and ending at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 29 ET.
During the maintenance period, TEAS and TEASi will be unavailable.
Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting the TSDR system beginning at 10 p.m., Saturday, January 28 and ending at 2 a.m., Sunday, January 29 ET.
During the maintenance period, TSDR will be unavailable.
Links to TSDR will not be available from the following systems:

• Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
• Trademarks Electronic Official Gazette (TMOG)

Fee Payment Processing Maintenance
The USPTO's Third-Party Credit Card Processing service, Pay.gov, will perform maintenance that impacts USPTO credit/debit card fee payment processing beginning at 6 p.m., Saturday, January 29 and ending at 10 p.m., Saturday, January 29 ET.
The following USPTO storefronts will be unable to accept Credit/Debit card payments during the maintenance period:
- Electronic Filing System-Web (EFS-Web)
- Electronic Filing System-Web Contingency (EFS-Web Contingency)
- Patent Center
- Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTABE2E)
- Patent Maintenance Fees Storefront (FPNG)
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASI)
- Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
- Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Customer Interface (OEDCI)
- Certified Copy Center (CCC)
Customers with an already established USPTO Deposit Account or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Account may still pay using one of these payment methods during this maintenance window.
If you are unable to wait until the maintenance has concluded to pay a fee, the following alternative options are available:
Patent Customers: For more information about filing documents during an outage, please visit: https://www.uspto.gov/patents/apply/filing-online/filing-documents-during-outage. If you have questions, please contact the Patent Electronic Business Center (EBC) at 1-866-217-9197, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m., to midnight ET.
PTAB Customers: If your deadline is today for the petition filing and/or other associated documents to a pending America Invents Act (AIA) case and you cannot file electronically via the Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End (PTAB-E2E) System, you may use an alternative filing method. Please visit the PTAB-E2E FAQ page: https://www.uspto.gov/patents/ptab/ptab-e2e-frequently-asked-questions and see A2 for information concerning your America Invents Act (AIA) petition filing and/or document filing using PTAB-E2E alternative filing methods. If you have any questions, contact PTAB during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., ET by telephone at 571-272-7822 or email at Trials@uspto.gov.
Trademark Customers: Filing deadlines that fall on a Saturday extend the filing deadline to the next business day. Please try filing again after the maintenance ends. If you have any questions, contact the TEAS Team by email at TEAS@uspto.gov.

Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on ESTTA beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, January 29 and ending at 12 p.m., Saturday, January 29 ET.
During the maintenance period, ESTTA will be unavailable.
TTAB ReadingRoom Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on TTAB ReadingRoom beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, January 29 and ending at 5 am., Saturday, January 29 ET.
During the maintenance period, TTAB ReadingRoom will be unavailable.
Patent Global Dossier Public Access Dossier (P-GD-PAD) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the P-GD-PAD system beginning at 12:01 a.m., Wednesday, February 2 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 2ET.
During the maintenance period, P-GD-PAD may be unavailable.
Patent Office Action to XML (P-OA2XML) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on P-OA2XML beginning at 12:01 a.m., Wednesday, February 2 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 2 ET.
During the maintenance period, DOCX and XML downloads will not be available in Private PAIR and Patent Center.
Users should save all work and log off before the maintenance period begins.
Docket Application Viewer (DAV) Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on DAV each night beginning at 12:01 a.m., Tuesday, February 1 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Friday, February 4 ET.
During the maintenance period, DAV will be unavailable only from 12:01 a.m., to 5:30 a.m., on Tuesday, February 1 ET.
During the maintenance period, the system is anticipated to remain available on Wednesday, February 2 through Friday, February 4.
