MyUSPTO.gov and Fee Processing Maintenance
The USPTO will perform systems maintenance beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, April 29 and ending at 4 a.m., Saturday, April 29 ET.
The my.uspto.gov website will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
The maintenance will cause an outage to Financial Manager, an outage to Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront, and interruption to payment processing for USPTO storefronts. Users of the following systems should not attempt to make a payment during the maintenance period:
- Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web)
- Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
- Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS)
- Order Entry Management System (OEMS)
- Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
- Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E)

If your deadline is today and the document requiring a fee payment cannot be filed electronically, you must use an alternative method of filing. Please visit the Outage Page for information concerning Trademark alternative filing methods. Account holders will still be able to pay the required fees via those accounts. For TTAB Customers:
If your deadline is today and the document cannot be filed electronically, you must use an alternative method of filing. Please visit the Outage Page for information concerning TTAB alternative filing methods. TEAS and TEASi Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) and TEASi beginning at 8 a.m., Saturday, April 29 and ending at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 29 ET.
During the maintenance period, TEAS and TEASi will be unavailable. Because portable and e-signature forms allow 14 days for signature, it is important that you be aware of this scheduled outage so that you can plan ahead to avoid additional work. It is recommended that you file all recently created portable forms and e-signature forms by 7:59 a.m. ET on April 29, 2017. Customers unable to do so will be required to start the process again with updated forms.
USPTO Infrastructure Maintenance
The USPTO will be performing maintenance on the following systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Monday, May 1 and ending at 5 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017, ET.
These systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
- Electronic Patent Assignment System (EPAS)
- Electronic Trademark Assignment System (ETAS)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Item Bank (OEDIB)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Information System (OEDIS)
- On-Line Access Card System (OLAC)
- Order Entry Management System (OEMS)
- Office of Legislative and International Affairs (OLIADS)
- Patent and Trademark Assignment System (PTAS)
- Trademark Daily XML File (TDXF)
These systems will be available but Assignment Historical Database (AHD) will not be available:
- Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (Private PAIR)
- Public Patent Application Information Retrieval (Public PAIR)
Private PAIR and PUBLIC Pair users will not be able to order any documents.
Maintenance impacting the Online Document Ordering System
The USPTO is performing maintenance impacting the Online Document Ordering System beginning at midnight, Monday, May 1 and ending at 5 a.m., Monday, May 1 ET.
The Online Document Ordering System will be unavailable.
