Multiple Planned Events

Trademark Next Generation (TMNG) System Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark TMNG systems beginning at 10 p.m., Saturday, March 3 and ending at 6 a.m., Sunday, March 4 ET.

The following systems will be impacted:

  • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) initial application forms will not be available.
  • Trademark Next Generation ID Manual (TMNG-IDM) will not be available.
  • Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) will not be available. You can access recent PDF versions of the gazette on the Trademark Official Gazette webpage. For archived PDF versions of gazettes dating back to 2001, visit the archived editions page
  • Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) will be available with reduced functionality.

 

Customers should save all work prior to logging off impacted systems.

Global Dossier Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Global Dossier (GD) beginning at 9 p.m., Friday, March 2 and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, March 3 ET.

The Global Dossier will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

OEMS Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Online document Ordering System - also known as the Order Entry Management System (OEMS) - beginning at 11:59 p.m., Saturday, March 3 and ending at 5 a.m., Sunday, March 4 ET.

The OEMS will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

DCM Website Maintenance

The USPTO will be performing maintenance on the Digital Certificate Management (DCM) website beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, March 4, and ending at 6 a.m., Sunday, March 4 ET.

During the maintenance period, users will be unable to manage their External Public Key Infrastructure (EPKI) profiles via the DCM website.

Payment Processing Outage

Payment processing across all USPTO storefronts will be unavailable due to maintenance beginning at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, March 3 and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, March 3 ET. Users of the following systems should not attempt to make a payment during the maintenance period:

  • Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web & EFS-Web Contingency)
  • Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront
  • Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
  • Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
  • Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS)
  • Order Entry Management System (OEMS)
  • Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
  • Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E)
