Multiple Systems Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting several systems beginning at 12:01 a.m., Monday, November 5 and ending at 5 a.m., Monday, November 5 ET. The following systems and systems that interface with these systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

  • Migration Tool
  • Sponsorship Tool

 

Users will not be able to register for new USPTO.gov accounts or authenticate with USPTO.gov credentials during the maintenance period. Users will still be able to use their Public Key Identification (PKI) certificates to logon to Electronic Filing System - Web (EFS-Web) and Private Patent Application Information Retrieval (PAIR).

MyUSPTO Maintenance impacting EFS-Web, Private PAIR, and Financial Manager

The USPTO is performing monthly MyUSPTO maintenance beginning at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, November 4 and ending at 6 a.m., Sunday, November 4 ET.

New users will not be able to register for a USPTO.gov account during maintenance. Access to EFS-Web, and Private PAIR, and the migration and sponsorship tools using a USPTO.gov account will be unavailable.

Please authenticate using a PKI certificate during the outage period:


The maintenance will also affect the ability for Financial Manager users to add new users or make changes to user permissions for stored payment methods.

DCM Website Maintenance

The USPTO will be performing maintenance impacting the Digital Certificate Management (DCM) website beginning at 10 p.m., Sunday, November 4 and ending at 5 a.m., Monday, November 5 ET.

During the maintenance period, users will be unable to manage their External Public Key Infrastructure (EPKI) profiles via the DCM website.
