e-Office Action, ID Manual & TESS Search (Update) Problem and TEASi Payment Error Message
USPTO is currently experiencing a problem with the e-Office Action process sending emails to external email addresses. Automatic email notifications have been delayed for e-Office Action participants on April 24 and 25. Emails are currently being sent manually.
We are working to resolve this problem and anticipate the e-Office Action program will be working again shortly. Please go to the Outgoing Correspondence tab in Private PAIR to check if you have new correspondence from the USPTO. We will keep you informed with follow-up announcements. We apologize for the inconvenience.
To access your new correspondence:
TheSearch feature of the ID Manual has been restored. However, the field selection "All fields" does not search the "Notes" field. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The problem is being addressed by staff at the USPTO.
Please note that there will not be any additional entries added to the ID Manual until May 2.
The Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) is now operational with current data and images. Furthermore, the Image List feature which allows users to view multiple images at one time is now functioning properly.
All Trademark searches using TESS, conducted between 5 a.m. Saturday, April 20 and 5 a.m. Sunday, April 21, must be redone. Additionally, all Trademark searches using TESS, conducted between 3 a.m. Tuesday, April 23 and 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, must be redone.
Please contact the USPTO Service Desk at (571)272-9000 should you encounter any problems. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
