Security Update to Private PAIR

To reduce performance issues affecting USPTO systems, access to public applications not associated with your customer number is being removed in Private PAIR. Refer to the recent news brief, Securing USPTO online access for additional information. Please use Public PAIR or Patent Examination Data System for public application data.

USPTO.gov Login is Temporarily Unavailable

Authentication (login) to TEAS, EFS-Web for Registered eFilers, Private PAIR, and the Sponsorship tool is intermittently unavailable. Please retry at a later time.

EFS-Web for Unregistered eFilers to file new applications and use an alternative filing method to file follow-on submissions.

For trademark (TEAS) customers, if your deadline is today and you cannot login, you must use an alternative method of filing. Please visit the Trademark Outage Page for information concerning Trademark alternative filing methods. If you have any questions, contact the TEAS team by email TEAS@uspto.gov.
