Deposit Account Payment Processing Temporarily Available Between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. ET, June 16
The USPTO continues to experience technical issues affecting the Deposit Account payment method and troubleshooting is ongoing; however, to accommodate customer filings, USPTO will temporarily allow Deposit Account payments to be made between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. ET, June 16. At 2 p.m. ET, the Deposit Account Payment method will be shut off again. The ongoing issue is currently affecting customers using the following online systems:
- Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web and EFS-Web Contingency)
- Patent Center
- Electronic Trademark Assignment Search (ETAS)
- Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
- Certified Copy Center (CCC)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Customer Interface (OEDCI)
- Patent Maintenance Fee Storefront
- Patent Trial and Appeal Board End-to-End (PTAB E2E)
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi)
$25,000 Daily Fee Payment Limit Increased for COVID-19 Relief
The US Treasury has temporarily lifted the $25,000 per credit card per day limitation on government fee payments to be $100,000 (for COVID-19 relief).
