AOTW Technical Problems and TEASi - Payment Error Message
The USPTO is currently experiencing technical difficulties with Assignments on the Web (AOTW) relating to assignments recorded for Madrid applications and registrations. Currently users are unable to view the Madrid documents that support the recorded assignment on AOTW.
However, this same information is viewable in TSDR via the “Documents” tab. Please look for the document called either “IR – Name Address Change” or “IR – Owner Change” with a date that corresponds with the date the assignment was recorded with the Assignment Recordation Branch.
This problem is being addressed by staff at the USPTO. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
The USPTO is currently experiencing technical difficulties with our payment system for customers using the Subsequent Designation form. Users of this form may receive an “Internal Failure” error message after submitting payment information. Although the financial portion of the transaction completed, a technical glitch prevented the subsequent designation form from updating with the payment information. The problem is being addressed by staff at the USPTO. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
