AIW, Network, PRPS, EFS, and RAM Maintenance

AIW Maintenance

The maintenance USPTO had originally scheduled to upgrade Patents Images on the Web (PIW) starting at 10 p.m. until 11:59 p.m. Friday, March 8 has been rescheduled.

USPTO will announce the revised schedule at a later date.

Network Maintenance

USPTO will be performing maintenance starting at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, March 9. Many USPTO applications will be either unavailable or have intermittent service interruptions during the maintenance. Applications including EFS-Web, EFS-Web Contingency, Private PAIR, Public PAIR, TEAS/i and TEAS will be affected.

In addition to the applications listed above, the external applications listed on the Online Business Systems page are also affected.

PRPS Maintenance

USPTO will perform a software deployment to the Patent Review Process System (PRPS) beginning at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 9.

PRPS will be unavailable during the deployment period.

EFS-Web Maintenance

USPTO will perform maintenance on the Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web) beginning at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 10. EFS-Web will be unavailable during the maintenance.

RAM Maintenance

USPTO will perform maintenance on the Revenue Accounting and Management System (RAM) beginning at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 4 a.m. on Sunday, March 10.

  • Revenue Accounting and Management System (RAM)
  • Universal Public Workstation (UPWS)
