Patent Series Part 1 - Patent Process

The Midwest Regional USPTO hosts an interactive rotating 3-part series on the patent process, types of patent applications and how to file, and interactive patent searching every 3rd Wednesday of each month. This event is intended for individuals with a beginning to intermediate level of knowledge of patents. Each class builds off the prior class, while it is not necessary, it is recommended to attend the series in order.

  • Part 1 - Patent Process - January 17, 2018; April 18, 2018; July 18, 2018; or October 17, 2018
  • Part 2 - Types of Patent Applications and How to File - February 21, 2018, May 16, 2018, August 15, 2018, November 21, 2018
  • Part 3 - Interactive Patent Searching - March 21, 2018, June 20, 2018, September 19, 2018, December 19, 2018

Coming to the Midwest Regional Office for an event?  Free parking is available in the parking garage at 600 River Place, adjacent to our building, view parking information.
