The Scientific and Technical Information Center (STIC) enhances patents quality and examiner effectiveness through search, information services, and automation training. STIC provides prior art and bibliographic searches, document and foreign patents retrieval, translations, prior art resources including e-books, e-journals, commercial and subscription databases, and training on the use of online resources and search effectiveness.
