Kevin Mukai is a Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In this role, Mr. Mukai will support a range of priorities, with a particular focus on special projects for the Director, including trademark work related to name, image, and likeness (NIL), and various initiatives within the Office of Public Engagement and the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer.
Mr. Mukai brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience with Fortune 50 companies, including domestic and global assignments. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Nestlé USA, where he led the development of corporate capabilities in high-growth areas such as eBusiness and built the organizational infrastructure to support those initiatives. Prior to joining Nestlé, Mr. Mukai spent nearly 30 years at Procter & Gamble, where he led U.S., North America, and global multifunctional organizations.
Mr. Mukai received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah in marketing.
