World IP Day

Every April 26, the USPTO celebrates World Intellectual Property (IP) Day. World IP Day was established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in 2000 to raise awareness of how patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and designs impact daily life, and to celebrate creativity and the contributions made by creators and innovators. Visit WIPO for more information on the 2021 theme.

World IP Day 2021

The theme for 2021 World IP Day is “Small businesses taking big ideas to market,” encouraging the world to leverage the innovative power of small businesses to solve problems and create opportunities. This year, the USPTO will highlight those who have used intellectual property as a business strategy.
