USPTO Hour: Meet the 2025 Collegiate Inventor Competition winners

Join us on Wednesday, November 12, from noon to 1 p.m. ET for the next USPTO Hour, hosted by the Office of the Chief Communications Officer and the National Inventors Hall of Fame.

At this webinar, we will showcase the Collegiate Inventor Competition and meet this year's winners. The winners will talk about their experiences in the competition, their inventions, and what it was like to appear before some of the most prestigious inventors in the world—National Inventor Hall of Fame inductees—serving as judges.  

Speakers include:

  • Rini Paiva, Executive Vice President, Selection & Recognition, National Inventor Hall of Fame
  • Undergraduate Winners:  Nicolas Chicoine, Cameron Freeman, and Myles Miller from Washington University in St. Louis with their invention, "Sense"
  • Graduate Winners: Weixin Guan and Yaxuan Zhao from the University of Texas at Austin with their invention, "AirGel"
