Saturday Seminar July 19th
As part of its ongoing outreach to independent inventors, entrepreneurs, and small businesses, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will host a Saturday Seminar at the Elijah J. McCoy Detroit satellite office on July 19 from 9 am to 4 pm.
Representatives from the Detroit satellite office and the USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Va., will be on hand to conduct the workshop. Lee Young, regional manager of the USPTO Detroit satellite office, USPTO and Elizabeth Dougherty, USPTO Director of Inventor Education, Outreach, and Recognition will discuss the patent process and USPTO resources available to inventors and entrepreneurs.
This free event will provide valuable information about various types of intellectual property protection, the patent process, and trademarks. This is an opportunity for one-on-one conversations with USPTO representatives and a town hall panel at the close of the day.
