Intellectual Property Series for Beginners - Patent Application Contents and Search

The USPTO will provide a series of programming regarding intellectual property. This second part in the series will focus on the contents of a patent application and how to search for an invention prior to filing. Attendance at the previous event is not necessary to attend this event. Attendees will learn about the suggested content of the different parts of a patent application, including the drawings, description, and claims. Attendees will also learn how to perform a prior art search using the regional office's resources. In the third and final session, tentatively scheduled for September 8th, we will focus on the mechanics of filing a patent application.

Please register for the event, as seating is limited.
