Join senior officials from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the National Institute of Industrial Property of France (INPI) for an in-depth look at the details of using the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilot program.
Topics of discussion will include:
- INPI’s processes and filing strategies
- The USPTO’s processes and filing strategies
- U.S. and French practitioners’ experiences using the PPH pilot program
The presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
The Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) is a worksharing program between two intellectual property (IP) offices that serves as an effective strategy for expediting international patent applications. PPH arrangements allow applicants who receive a determination of allowable claims in an application from one IP office to obtain expedited examination of corresponding claims filed in an application pending in another participating IP office. For more information about the USPTO-INPI PPH pilot program, visit either the USPTO website (in English) or the INPI website (in French).
Agenda
A detailed agenda will be posted to this page at least one week before the program date. The program will be in English.
