| 1. A sheet handling apparatus comprising:
a stack tray which stacks sheets or sheet bundles; and
a pushing member which pushes a sheet or a sheet bundle to an alignment position on said stack tray, to align the sheet or
the sheet bundle,
wherein said pushing member moves to a standby position in a direction apart from said stack tray at a first moving velocity,
and then moves toward the alignment position from the standby position at a second moving velocity which is slower than the
first moving velocity.
