| 1. A method for laying-out and illustrating pages using a computer, said method comprising the steps of:
creating a layered page in a document based on a layered master page;
interleaving layers of said layered master page with layers of said created page; and
outputting a combined image of said created page wherein objects in said layers of said created page interleave with objects
on said layers of said layered master page.
