| 1. A method for displaying an image, comprising:
receiving a digital image;
receiving one or more annotations associated with the digital image and, for each annotation, receiving one or more reasons
why the annotation was associated with the digital image;
categorizing the one or more annotations into one or more categories of a plurality of categories based on their respective
one or more reasons for association with the digital image;
receiving a priority assignment for each category of the plurality of categories; and
displaying the digital image on an operator interface, wherein the categorization of the one or more annotations associated
with the digital image and the priority assignments for each category at least partially determine a display characteristic
of the one or more annotations associated with the digital image.
