| 1. A method comprising:
determining that a temperature of a processor is below a threshold, the processor having an upper operating point and a lower
operating point; and
moving the upper operating point and the lower operating point toward one another in response to the determining;
confirming a stability of a thermal state of the processor
calculating an average between the upper operating point and the lower operating point;
selecting a greater value for the lower operating point based on the average;
selecting a lesser value for the upper operating point based on the average; and
applying the upper operating point to the processor.
