1. A method comprising:
sampling a physiological measure of a subject;
deriving a power spectrum distribution (PSD) from the physiological measure;
tracking dynamically a highest PSD peak having a PSD peak amplitude and frequency which vary over time; and
providing an indication that said subject is in a state of physiological coherence when the highest PSD peak exhibits at least a predetermined relative amplitude to a total energy above and below the highest PSD peak.
