1. A method of prioritizing data packets with a mobile device, comprising:
determining a range to a waypoint;
determining an estimated time of arrival at the waypoint;
computing a priority value of data packets for transmission over a cellular vehicle to everything (CV2X) data link based at least in part on the estimated time of arrival at the waypoint; and
generating a data packet for transmission over a CV2X data link based on the priority value; wherein a sooner time of arrival corresponds to a higher priority.
