| 1. A golf ball having recessed dimples on the surface thereof, wherein at least one dimple comprises:
two discrete geometries that are surrounded by a first circular perimeter; and
one of the discrete geometries comprises a prismatoid depression or protrusion surrounded by a smaller, second circular perimeter
that is circumscribed within the first, and is in contact with all prismatoid vertices,
wherein the aerodynamic flight characteristics of the golf ball are further tuned.
