| 1. A capacity switching-type memory card, which is connectable to a host device, the memory card comprises:
a storage element configured to include a first storage area applying a first file system and a second storage area applying
a second file system; and
a controller configured to switch a capacity expression accessed by the host device, between a first capacity expression and
a second capacity expression exceeding the first capacity expression.
