1. A method of network discovery and onboarding, implemented with electronic operations performed in at least one apparatus, the method comprising:
activating a first device instance for communication in a first network framework, the first device instance being provided from a device that hosts the first device instance;
associating a first secure device identifier with the first device instance, for identification of the first device instance in the first network framework;
activating a second device instance for communication in a second network framework, the second device instance being provided from the device, the device hosting the second device instance in addition to the first device instance;
associating a second secure device identifier with the second device instance, for identification of the second device instance in the second network framework; and
causing provisioning of the second device instance to enable operation in the second network framework, wherein the second device instance is provisioned in a secure directory based on the second secure device identifier.
