1. An electronic system comprising, a display apparatus; and
a remote control apparatus comprising:
a first communicator;
a user input unit comprising a plurality of buttons including a button for controlling the display apparatus; and
a first controller configured to:
in response to the button being pressed, control the first communicator to transmit a first signal corresponding to the button to the display apparatus;
receive, through the first communicator from the display apparatus, a second signal as a response with respect to the first signal; and
based on the second signal, control an operating state of at least one electrical component of the remote control apparatus to change from a first state to a second state,
wherein the display apparatus comprises:
a second communicator; and
a second controller configured to, in response to receiving the first signal through the second communicator from the remote control apparatus, control the second communicator to transmit the second signal to the remote control apparatus, and
wherein the at least one electrical component consumes less power in the first state than in the second state.
