1. A binder for a lithium secondary battery, the binder containing a polyimide copolymer containing a repeating unit represented by a following Chemical Formula 1 and a repeating unit represented by a following Chemical Formula 2:

wherein in the Chemical Formula 1 and the Chemical Formula 2, each of R1 to R6 independently represents one functional group selected from a group consisting of H, —CH3-xFx and —F, R7 represents at least one functional group selected from a group consisting of a carboxyl group, a hydroxy group, a sulfonic acid group, a phosphoric acid group, and an acid anhydride group, x denotes an integer from 1 to 3, and each of a and b independently denotes an integer of 2 to 200.
