1. A multi-modal medical imaging system comprising:
a medical imaging system configured to detect signals from a patient;
an emission tomography system configured to detect emissions from the patient;
an image processor configured to reconstruct an object of the patient from the detected emissions using a partial volume correction map for the object based on sub-division of an organ segmentation of an organ, the organ segmentation being from the signals, the sub-division being sub-parts of the organ; and
a display configured to display an image of the reconstructed object.
