1. A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising stored instructions,
which when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:
identify a plurality of candidate nets within a netlist;
determine a bounding box comprising one or more nets of the plurality of candidate nets;
determine an orientation of a memory channel associated with the bounding box;
determine a pattern of bumps within the bounding box based on the orientation; and
create a subchannel based on the pattern of bumps.
