1. A laser beam generating device, comprising:
a housing;
a laser light generator disposed in the housing and operable to generate a first output beam and a second output beam, the first output beam and the second output beam projecting outside of the housing;
wherein the laser light generator is configured to operate in a first mode in which the first output beam is projected outside of the housing and the second output beam is not projected outside of the housing;
wherein the laser light generator is configured to operate in a second mode in which the first output beam and the second output beam are both projected outside of the housing;
wherein the first output beam and the second output beam overlap in the second mode; and
wherein the first output beam operates at a first duty cycle in the first mode;
wherein the first output beam operates at a second duty cycle in the second mode;
wherein the second output beam operates at a third duty cycle in the second mode;
wherein the third duty cycle is staggered with respect to the second duty cycle; and
wherein an intensity of the combination of the first output beam and the second output beam at the overlap does not exceed a predetermined limit.
