1. A device for interrupting a flow of fluid through a fluid conduit upon detection of a leak, comprising:
leak detectors configured to detect a fluid leak from a fluid conduit;
a primary valve in fluid communication with said fluid conduit and through which fluid directed to a property flows;
at least two unit valves in fluid communication with said fluid conduit, each unit valve associated with a unit of the property and through which fluid directed to the associated unit flows;
a controller in communication with said leak detectors and said unit valves and configured to establish a geo-fencing boundary about said unit valves and said leak detectors;
a means to detect any occupant of a plurality of occupants within said geo-fencing boundary in communication with said controller and configured to output an occupied signal upon detection of an occupant within said geo-fencing boundary and output a vacant signal when no occupant is detected within said geo-fencing boundary
a timer means for delaying transitions from said occupied signal to said vacant signal; and
wherein upon detection of said occupied signal said controller monitors for a home leak signal from said leak detectors and upon detection of said vacant signal said controller monitors for an away leak signal from said leak detectors;
wherein a unit valve of said at least two unit valves is closed when said home leak signal or said away leak signal indicates a leak in the corresponding unit; and
wherein said primary valve is closed when said home leak signal is detected and indicates a leak in at least two units and said primary valve is closed when said away leak signal is detected and indicates a leak in at least two units.
