1. A process to produce fertilizer product granules, comprising:
a) providing core particles, wherein the core particles comprise core packets that consist of one or more animal nutrients or consist of a mixture of one or more one animal nutrients and a binder, wherein the one or more animal nutrients are selected from the group consisting of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin B12, biotin, pantothenic acid, iron, iodine, magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, chromium, molybdenum, boron, nickel, silicon, tin, vanadium, lutein, lycopene, and salts, chelates and combinations thereof, wherein the core packets having a surface are coated with a first coating comprising 84.4% to 98.7% urea;
b) introducing the core particles into a urea granulation process; and
c) spraying the core particles with a second coating comprising melted urea in said urea granulation process to yield granules, wherein the second coating is different in composition from the first coating and comprises one or more plant nutrients selected from the group consisting of a phosphorus compound, a potassium compound, a supplemental nitrogen compound, and a combination thereof;
wherein the urea granulation process is carried out in a fluid bed.
