1. An apparatus comprising:
a landing tray configured to receive a drone delivering a package to a house, wherein the landing tray includes an opening configured to allow packages from the drone to fall through the landing tray;
a secure container that stores delivered packages for the house and includes a package tray disposed below the landing tray and configured to receive the packages from the drone that pass through the opening of the landing tray; and
a rail assembly configured to:
move the package tray out of the secure container in a vertical direction towards the landing tray when receiving the packages from the drone that pass through the opening of the landing tray; and
move the package tray back into the secure container in the vertical direction when the packages from the drone have been delivered to the package tray.
