1. A surgical stapling adjunct comprising:
a bulk matrix formed of an absorbable polymer material; and
a plurality of internal structures positioned within the bulk matrix such that the adjunct compresses when a compressive force is applied thereto and provides a spring back force when the compressive force is removed, each of the internal structures in the plurality of internal structures having a plurality of arms.
