1. A wireless communication terminal comprising:
a transceiver configured to transmit and receive a wireless signal; and
a processor configured to control an operation of the wireless communication terminal,
wherein the processor is configured to:
receive a preamble of a wireless signal through a channel,
perform a back off procedure based on the wireless signal,
measure a received signal strength of the preamble of the wireless signal for performing the back off procedure,
compare the received signal strength and a first threshold value,
suspend the back off procedure for data transmission, when the received signal strength is larger than the first threshold value,
wherein whether the wireless signal is a wireless signal transmitted from a basic service set BSS of the wireless communication terminal is identified based on identification information included in the preamble, and
determine whether to resume the back off procedure using a second threshold value, when the wireless signal is not the wireless signal transmitted from the BSS of the wireless communication terminal,
wherein the channel is determined to be idle or busy based on the first threshold value or the second threshold value according to whether the wireless signal is the wireless signal transmitted from the BSS of the wireless communication terminal.
