9. A method of controlling communication by an apparatus included in a control system, the control system including a plurality of the apparatuses connected to a network and being in time synchronization with one another, the network being configured to transfer the frame periodically exchanged by the plurality of apparatuses, the apparatus being connected over the network, to a first apparatus configured to transmit the frame that arrives at the apparatus and a second apparatus configured to receive the frame transmitted from the apparatus, the apparatus including information on the frame transfer path and transfer timing based on synchronous time, the method comprising:
receiving the frame that arrives at the apparatus over the network;
detecting whether the frame arrives at the apparatus at defined time through the transfer path; and
transmitting, when the frame does not arrive and when a condition associated with the cycle is satisfied, a resend request requesting to resend the frame through the transfer path to the first apparatus connected to the network.
